What is Mudjacking?

Mudjacking (known as slab jacking, concrete lifting, concrete raising, or concrete slab leveling) is a technique to lift concrete that settles as times goes on.

A series of 1 3/4″ holes are drilled through the sunken concrete.  As the mixture is pumped through the holes, underneath the concrete slab, it fills all empty spaces and creates pressure on the slab, which lifts it upwards and back into place.  The holes are then patched with cement, and the process is complete.

Concrete Slab Repair

As soil underneath concrete washes away or starts to settle severely, the slab often sinks and causes an unlevel surface, which can be a trip hazard!

This can be a dangerous and unsightly problem, especially if you’re planning on selling your home.  Mudjacking the concrete can be a great and economical solution to help fix concrete problems like this.

At Miracle Mudjacking, our recommended solution is to fix settled concrete with the mudjacking process.  As described above, Mudjacking fills the holes under the concrete and lifts it back toward its original positioning.
